We have some exciting AI news today: Anthropic has released Claude 4, setting new standards in AI reasoning and safety, and Zoom's CEO made headlines by using an AI avatar during a quarterly earnings call.

1. Claude 4 Launches with Major Upgrades in Coding, Reasoning, and AI Agents
Anthropic has unveiled Claude 4, featuring two new models: Claude Opus 4 and Claude Sonnet 4. Opus 4 is being hailed as the best AI coding model in the world, with unmatched performance on complex tasks and long-running workflows. Sonnet 4 delivers a major upgrade in reasoning and instruction-following while maintaining speed and accessibility. Both models support extended thinking with tool use, memory through local file access, and parallel execution. Claude Code is now generally available with native IDE integrations and a new SDK for developers to build their own AI agents. These updates make Claude 4 a powerful step forward for anyone building with or relying on AI.

2. Zoom CEO Sends AI Avatar to Earnings Call in a Bold New Move
Zoom CEO Eric Yuan used his AI avatar to deliver opening remarks during the company’s quarterly earnings call, following Klarna’s similar move earlier this week. The avatar, powered by Zoom Clips, highlighted the company’s push to redefine communication through AI while emphasizing the importance of trust and security. Zoom is now making its custom avatar feature available to all users, signaling a future where digital stand-ins could become the norm for business communication.

3. Intel Launches New Xeon 6 CPUs to Supercharge AI Performance
Intel has unveiled three new Xeon 6 CPUs built to maximize performance in GPU-powered AI systems, including the Xeon 6776P now powering NVIDIA's latest DGX B300. These processors feature Intel’s new Priority Core Turbo technology, which prioritizes key cores to run at higher speeds, speeding up AI workloads and improving system efficiency. With up to 128 performance cores, faster memory, and enhanced I/O, the Xeon 6 lineup is designed to meet the growing demands of AI across industries and cement Intel's role in next-gen data center infrastructure.
The key to a $1.3T opportunity
A new real estate trend called co-ownership is revolutionizing a $1.3T market. Leading it? Pacaso. Led by former Zillow execs, they already have $110M+ in gross profits with 41% growth last year. They even reserved the Nasdaq ticker PCSO. But the real opportunity’s now. Until 5/29, you can invest for just $2.80/share.
This is a paid advertisement for Pacaso’s Regulation A offering. Please read the offering circular at invest.pacaso.com. Reserving a ticker symbol is not a guarantee that the company will go public. Listing on the NASDAQ is subject to approvals. Under Regulation A+, a company has the ability to change its share price by up to 20%, without requalifying the offering with the SEC.

4. Microsoft Gives Notepad AI Writing Powers in Windows 11 Update
Microsoft is turning Notepad into a smart writing assistant with a new AI-powered “Write” feature now available to Windows Insiders. The tool can generate text from prompts or help revise existing content directly within the app. This update is part of a broader rollout of creative AI features in Windows 11, including a new sticker generator in Paint and smarter screenshot cropping in the Snipping Tool. Users will need to sign in with a Microsoft account to access these tools, which use the same credits system as other Copilot features.

5. Google's Veo 3 Blurs the Line Between Real and AI-Generated Video
Google has launched Veo 3, an advanced AI video generator that creates hyper-realistic clips complete with dialogue, sound effects and lifelike human actors. The videos look so real that most people can’t tell they’re AI-made, sparking both excitement and concern online. Filmmakers say the tool gives them unprecedented creative freedom, but critics worry it could flood the internet with synthetic content that’s indistinguishable from the real thing. Available now to Google AI Ultra subscribers, Veo 3 is pushing the boundaries of storytelling while raising urgent questions about authenticity and the future of video creation.

6. Meta Powers Up AI Growth With Massive New Solar Deal
Meta has signed a new agreement to add 650 megawatts of solar power to fuel its expanding AI data centers. The deal, made with energy company AES, includes projects in Texas and Kansas and adds to Meta’s already massive 12-gigawatt renewable energy portfolio. This marks Meta’s fourth major solar deal in 2025, as the company leans on clean energy to keep up with the power demands of its AI ambitions. With Texas leading the U.S. in new solar capacity, Meta is tapping into the region’s fast permitting and grid connections to scale quickly and efficiently.
